No split backplane with EJ01. The basic alternative is FC 5618 (six bays, no RAID 5/6), which IBM i does not support.

The drive bay and controller setup decides how many drives the server can hold and how they are protected. Changing it usually means planning downtime, so check it against your machine type first.
