IBM Power Virtual Server

PowerVS

IBM's Power-as-a-cloud-service offering, letting IBM i, AIX, or Linux workloads run on IBM Cloud-hosted Power infrastructure instead of owned hardware.

For a Power7 operator whose real goal is getting off unsupported hardware rather than owning newer hardware, Power Virtual Server is a non-hardware migration path worth evaluating alongside a physical Power10 or Power11 refresh.
