IBM's 2010-generation Power processor and server family, spanning the entry 710 Express through the flagship 795, now the oldest generation covered anywhere in the AS400System.com portfolio.
IBM POWER7 launched February 8, 2010, was withdrawn from marketing in 2015-2016 depending on model, and its hardware maintenance ended in 2019 (POWER7) and 2020 (POWER7+). IBM i 7.3, the last IBM i release Power7 hardware can run, itself lost standard support in September 2023 with a paid extension through 2028.
