The Power 710 Express (8231-E1C, later 8231-E1D on the POWER7+ refresh) was IBM's smallest Power7 rack server: a 2U, single-socket chassis offering 4-, 6-, or 8-core processor features and up to 64 GB of DDR3 memory. It was positioned below the 720 Express for the smallest single-application IBM i, AIX, and Linux deployments.
